My first tutorial is a SUPER simple project so I only have a pic of the finished product.
Lets hope this gets you all inspired, and if you try it please let me know because I'd love to see it!

Materials:
Glass "Beads" with a Flat back. (you know..the ones you use with flowers/pants) The ones I used where slightly Pink with a rainbow-ish shine.

Clear Nailpolish
Or any varnish of your choice

Glue
Please test beforehand that it dries completely transparent and that it isnt so strong that it dissolves paper.

Magnets
Any will do, just as long as they are small enough to be glued to the back of the beads.

Paper With cute pictures you can use.

Toothpick

Hobby knife (Optional)

Step One.

Start with cutting out the pictures you are gonna use. The paper I used was the paper back of a stickersheet. I would have thrown it away if I didn't find out I could use it like this instead
I didn't worry much about the shape at this point, because I'm gonna go over the edges with the hobby knife later. Although you could skip that and just put more effort in this step

Step Two.

Dispense some glue on some paper and take out your toothpick. Using your toothpick spread a thin layer of glue on the back of your bead and glue your picture to it. Press slightly to avoid airbubbles.

When you have glued all, let them completely dry.

Step Three.

When mine dried I used my hobby knife to peel off what was sticking out. This is the step you can skip if you cut them carefully before. Although I think this is much easier though, just put it in an angle and peel like you would an apple .

Step Four.
Then I used my Clear nailpolish to seal off all edges and the back of the picture.
Add the magnets to the back! and taa-daa you are done!!

Can you believe it?

I also got a cold/flue, that was pretty bad yesterday and got a lot worse today. Although I can't really complain right now since it is kinda nice to really not be able to do anything but stay in bed all day.

I've been working a lot, stressing out about this and that and doing my best supporting my friend that recently recieved some really bad news.

I had a super busy weekend, my childhood
friend Jenny came to visit me on friday, and
she stayed over until saturday.


We just pretty recently re-connected, after I
don't know how many years!
Seems we have a lot of similar hobbies
nowadays (a contrast to when we where kids
LOL).
So my firday/saturday was filled with crafting,
old photos and watching & talking about 80's
stuff.

Today I recieved a package from my friend Aya!
It was filled with nail stuff and loads of yummy
japanese candies.

I got so many things, but I'll share just a few

I got a set of custom made nailtips, they are
gorgeous & perfect!!

Of all the candies I got this was by far my
favourite..I could eat it forever

phew, writing japanese is hard ^^; hope I did not
make too many mistakes in this post...

I keep trying to get better at it, slowly and
slowly I am I think. this is my latest
design...too bad hologram glitters don't show
up well in photos



I tried to take some pics of my other hand too,

(it's hard to take pics with my left hand!)

Seems fc2 had a lot of problems the last couple
of days but now it seems fine again. Sorry about
the downtime.


Wow this week has just been totally exhausting
....don't believe me?
Well, first of its been a week holiday for kids in
school here in sweden, which usually means I'm
travelling around to libraries and other things
having artclasses/mangaclasses. Don't get me
wrong, I LOVE doing it!
The kids are always wonderful, talented and so
eager to learn!
But rewarding as it is, It's also very exhausting
work, being very intense.
I usually get really sick afterwards, happened
this time too...
it's no wonder really, being in contact with
hundreds of kids in a supershort time. This
time I got a really high fever and swollen throat
& ears, it passed really quickly though so I'm
feeling better already.


Something that made this week a "bit" more
exhausting than usual was that on tuesday
Andreas got food poisoning
All from eating a cheeseburger at McDonalds.
Poor thing....

So Ive been looking after him when I wasn't
working. I've never seen him so sick before!


Andreas and I will take it easy for a while.
Hopefully it means I'll get a lot of drawing
done
